WHAT TO EXPECT
Expect your first appointment to last between 30-45 minutes. We will start by going over your past health history and the history behind the current issue you are seeking care for.
We will then perform a thorough exam of your muscles, joints, nerves, and multiple organ systems (heart, lungs, nervous system, etc.)
Once the exam is finished, we will discuss our findings and the plan of care to get you feeling better! Our care plans are divided into the three phases below.
Phase 1: Relief care
If you come to us in pain our first goal is to help you feel better. This phase typically consists of treatments 2-3 times a week, until the pain subsides. This may take 2-4 weeks depending on the person.
Phase 2: Corrective care
When the body is injured, the spine and surrounding structures tend to weaken causing other areas to compensate. During the corrective phase our goal is to correct these underlying issues, allowing you to fully heal and stay better.
Phase 3: Wellness care
Once you have recovered it is important to receive regular adjustments in order to prevent further injuries and correct any dysfunctional movement patterns that might be starting.
